Diablo Unbound Open Questions: 10 Things Still Unannounced

The 10 questions about Diablo Unbound that still have no answer, each with what we checked and the best answer available: price, shipping, release day and more.

Every gap in our coverage, listed on purpose.

Diablo Unbound was announced on 21 October 2026 with a release year and a crowdfunding window, and nothing else that a buyer needs. That is not a gap in this wiki, it is the state of the product. So instead of quietly omitting the blanks, this page collects them: ten questions people are already asking, what we did to answer each one, and the best answer that currently exists.

Ten questions about Diablo Unbound are still unanswered as of 22 October 2026, and no amount of searching will close them.

  • Price, pledge tiers and shipping cost: not announced
  • Release month and day: 2027 only
  • Boss names, component counts, language editions: not shown
  • Everything here comes from one publisher announcement plus the trailer

Doesn't apply when: This page is about what is missing, not what is wrong. Items move off this page when the publisher says something, and we date each removal.

That table is the whole page in one screen. The sections below explain what we did to close each row, because "we could not find it" is only useful if you say where you looked.

Why price and shipping cannot be answered yet

Board games of this size are priced at the campaign, not before it. The publisher has to fix a manufacturing quote, a shipping table and a VAT position across markets first, and all three move with the number of backers. That is why the announcement gives a quarter for the campaign and a year for release, and why no retailer listing exists to reverse-engineer a price from.

Anyone quoting a figure today is quoting a guess. We have seen estimates built by comparing other Glass Cannon Unplugged boxes, and the reasoning is not unreasonable, but it is not a price. If the campaign page opens with tiers, the Gamefound campaign page will be the first place this site records them, with the date we read them.

What "2027" means, and what it does not

The release year is confirmed. The month is not, the day is not, and the campaign quarter is a separate event roughly a year earlier. This is the single most common misreading of the announcement, and it is worth stating plainly: backing in Q1 2027 does not put a box in your hands in Q1 2027. The release timeline keeps those two dates apart.

There is also no retail date. A crowdfunded game can reach shops later, sometimes much later, and the publisher has not committed to a retail window at all.

The three questions that decide a purchase

Most of the ten rows are curiosity. Three are not:

  1. Price. Without it you cannot judge value against the campaign board games you already own. The published playtime of 9 to 13.5 hours is the only half of that comparison that exists, and it lives on the playtime page.
  2. Shipping. For buyers outside the EU and the US, shipping can be a large fraction of the pledge. Nothing is announced, including whether regional hubs will be used.
  3. Language of the physical edition. A box in a language you cannot read is not a purchase, and the publisher has said nothing about localisation.

If all three matter to you, waiting for the campaign page costs nothing. Following it early is the only action that has a deadline, and the Treasure Goblin gift page explains the two conditions attached to it.

What we tried, so you can judge the answers

For each row we checked the same four places: the announcement post, the official trailer frame by frame, the Gamefound prelaunch page, and the publisher's Discord announcements channel. Where a question concerns rules, we also checked whether any preview copy had been sent to reviewers, because a rulebook excerpt in a preview is the usual way this information leaks out early. As of 22 October 2026, no preview coverage with rules text exists.

Two rows are marked Unverified rather than Unknown, and the difference matters. For Torment mode we know the mode exists and roughly what it does, but not how it is resolved at the table, so the claim is third-party-level rather than publisher-level. For Diablo: The Board Game, two product listings point at what may be one project under a working title; the publisher's own wording is the only evidence either way, and it does not settle it.

How this page gets updated

When the publisher answers one of these, the row does not simply disappear. The answer moves into the page it belongs to, the row here is replaced with a dated line pointing at that page, and the change is recorded in the latest updates list. If a claim on this page turns out to be wrong, it gets a dated correction rather than a silent edit.

That is the point of keeping the page: it is a record of what was unknown on a given date, which is exactly what makes the rest of the site checkable.

Frequently asked questions

Is there any way to find out the Diablo Unbound price before the campaign?

No. The publisher has not given a price, a pledge tier or a shipping estimate, and no retailer listing exists to compare against. The campaign page on Gamefound is the first place a real figure will appear, and this site records it with the date it was read.

Does Diablo Unbound have a confirmed release date in 2027?

Only the year. Glass Cannon Unplugged has confirmed 2027 for the product release, with no month and no day, and a separate Gamefound campaign in Q1 2027. Backing during that campaign is not the same as receiving the game in that quarter.

Can I read the Diablo Unbound rulebook before it is published?

No. No rulebook, quick-start sheet or rules excerpt has been released, and no preview copy with rules text has gone to reviewers. Until one appears, anything describing specific dice, card counts or ability text is somebody's reconstruction rather than the publisher's rules.

Will Diablo Unbound be available in languages other than English?

Not announced. The publisher has not listed languages for the physical edition, and there is no statement about whether localised boxes will ship in the first print run. For a tabletop game this affects who can actually play it, so it is one of the questions worth asking during the campaign.

Why does this page exist instead of just leaving the gaps out?

Because a list of what is known is only half a record. Ten unanswered questions, each with the places we checked, let a reader verify our work and know exactly how far the evidence goes. It also means the site never has to invent a number to look complete.
