The short answer, then the record

Two separate reasons stop you playing today, and they are worth keeping apart.

Reason one: the medium. This is a boxed tabletop game. If you searched for a download, a Steam page, an early-access build or a launcher, the correct answer is that none of those will exist. The game has no digital version as far as the publisher has stated.

Reason two: the schedule. Even as a board game, it cannot be played yet because it has not been manufactured. The publisher has confirmed a 2027 release year and a Gamefound campaign opening in Q1 2027. No month, no day, no price.

The only place it has been playable

Four tables at SPIEL Essen, 22–25 October 2026, Hall 1 booth C611. That is the entire public play history of the game. If you were not at the show, you have not missed a download, a beta key or a signup — there was never one to miss.

Anyone claiming to have played it outside that window is either referring to the show demo or to another game. The comparison hub lists the products most often confused with this one.

What this does not mean

It does not mean the project is in trouble, delayed, or cancelled. A game announced in October 2026 with a 2027 release year and a Q1 2027 campaign is following a normal board game timeline: announce, crowdfund, manufacture, ship.

It also does not mean the game is "coming soon" in a store sense. Nothing is listed for sale, and a retail listing without a price is a catalogue stub rather than an offer. The pre-order page covers that distinction.

What you can actually do now

Follow the Gamefound prelaunch page. Following is free and is one of the two conditions for the free Treasure Goblin Expansion follower gift — the other is backing the campaign later with a physical pledge. The Gamefound page lists both.

Then read what is already knowable: how a run works, the four launch classes, and how long a campaign takes. That is roughly twenty minutes of reading and it covers everything the publisher has confirmed.
